32 markets launch as Microsoft Advertising global expansion continues
Increasing the global footprint of Microsoft Advertising
Today, we’ve launched Microsoft Advertising in 32 new countries across the Latin America (LATAM) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions. This opportunity for advertisers comes just a few months after we announced the launch of 29 new markets in Europe and Africa, which marked the first phase of this year’s global expansion. Now, this second phase brings an even more substantial increase of our global footprint and marks a key way we are enabling advertisers to benefit from additional reach of our unique audience of Workday Consumers.
Starting today, advertisers will be able to connect with consumers in the following markets1:
21 new markets in Latin America
Microsoft Advertising is now live in Aruba, Bahamas, Bolivia, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Martinique, Montserrat, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay.
11 new markets in Asia Pacific
Microsoft Advertising is now live in Bangladesh, Brunei, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, and Sri Lanka.
With global expansion comes global scale
Advertisers who are based or advertise in LATAM and APAC can now reach more consumers who are conducting product research and making purchases with search engines. The 32 additional markets available today will increase the reach of Microsoft Advertising by an estimated 59 million people who make 780 million searches monthly on Microsoft and partner sites.2
More global markets are on the way in 2022
We are in the middle of a phenomenal period of growth and expansion. At Microsoft Advertising Elevate, Rukmini Iyer—Distinguished Engineer, CVP, Microsoft Advertising Product Engineering—shared our ambition to grow our global scale this year.
The Microsoft Audience Network is also expanding globally
In parallel, our engineering teams are working hard to bring you the best of search and native together, so the expansion of the Microsoft Audience Network (MSAN) is following fast into these countries. In April, we announced that Microsoft Audience Ads are now available in 39 new markets. APAC markets include India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, and Taiwan. Europe and Middle East (EMEA) markets include Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, and the Vatican City.
There is still more to come, and we look forward to bringing MSAN to all the markets in which paid search advertising is available. Stay tuned for more information about expanded Microsoft Audience Network availability in the coming months.
With global expansion comes a complementary global product mindset
